Hello guys. Welcome to the InvisibleShieldHub. Today, I’m back for you – the iPhone 14 Plus. I did manage to get my hands on one of these, and I must say, I was on the fence about getting it. However, I wanted to check it out and get some accessories for those who did purchase one. There have been rumors about the sales of the iPhone 14 Plus not doing well, but honestly, I’m looking forward to using it. I prefer a big phone without the crazy weight of the 14 Pro Max. The 14 Pro Max is the same size, but the weight is too much for me. I don’t usually use my phone for photography all the time. Still, I appreciate a good battery life and a light phone that doesn’t feel heavy.
We’re going to check out this screen protector. I know there are mixed opinions about it, but I have the Glass Plus Elite Defense from ZAGG for those who haven’t picked it up yet. It’s the privacy version, and I got it on Best Buy’s website for $44.99. It’s a bit expensive, but we’ll see how it works. There aren’t many privacy screen protectors available for the 14 lineups yet, which is surprising. The presentation looks good, and the ZAGG Glass Elite Plus has more details. It says it’s for the 6.7-inch 2022, and you can see the room for the notch up there. Before we get to the accessory reviews, if anyone has any suggestions or questions, feel free to let me know.
You have the warranty stuff. The installation tray is also included, which is very handy for the actual alignment. I went with the white version of the phone, a light phone. I like the way it feels. It feels super soft compared to even the regular Pro. One downfall with the Pro is that it’s still heavy, but it feels pretty good and more natural because of the weight distribution.
I would say I got my dust removal sticker, wet wipe, and microfiber cloth to wipe it down, just like we do. I haven’t done anything with this foam besides turning it on and logging in to get everything set up. So, we’ll check it out in the next few days. I know this phone is something that everyone has their own opinion on, so you can see what you’re going to get. Basically, from the front, you can see it. Still, then I decide that’s where you’re not going to be able to see it, so somebody creeping up on your side will not know what you’re doing. It has a nice weight to it, and the notch area, the cutout, will take out that beautiful thing and wipe it down. Now it, you know, the notch just doesn’t bother me. I got used to it.
So they made the gap a little bit bigger, but it’s probably the same screen size as the 13 Pro Max, and I know that’s pretty much what everybody is talking about. The better buy is perhaps the 13 Pro Max because it’s the same processor. Then you get a better camera, which is good, but if you’re about just battery life and then taking just.
I will wipe the phone with a wet wipe to make it shiny and clean. I will use a dust removal sticker to get a nice clean layer of the screen. Then, I will put the phone in the tray, aligning the top and bottom. I will keep the dust removal sticker handy if I need it again. I hope I didn’t mess up the alignment when I put it in the tray. I will apply the adhesive around the notch area and the bottom part of the phone and hope it will start adhering. Some companies will provide a squeegee, but this one did not.
I will remove the protective film from the phone to see how the installation looks. The building looks good, but there is a small cut-off around the edge and some bubbles at the bottom. I will remove the bubbles, and it will look pretty clean. The phone feels pleasant to the touch. I will turn on the screen to show how it looks when the screen is on. I will load up a website, like ESPN, to demonstrate that the phone works properly. The front of the phone looks good, but you can’t see it from the side. I don’t see any light bleed around the top area of the notch or the cutout. Light bleed is when light from the edge of the screen leaks into the display, but it is not an issue in this case.
The screen protector has an excellent feel, and the bubbles will be removed soon. I wish that they had included a squeegee with it. However, it does appear to be a well-built and high-quality screen protector. Not all privacy glass screen protectors are created equal, and some are not good quality. I have had some bad ones from ZAGG, but this one looks promising. It has a natural touch and appears good from the front viewing angle. There is a little light bleed on the sides, but that is where you will benefit from the screen protector, as you can’t see anything on the sides. Overall, it is expensive, but it will be a hit for anyone looking for this type of screen protector. It’s not for everyone, but it’s worth checking out if you are into ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass+ Defense Elite Privacy.
